About The team:

The Risk and Audit Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the business operates in a controlled environment with appropriate risk management processes. The Risk and Audit Manager will evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Casumo’s internal controls using a risk-based methodology developed from professional auditing standards. You will work collaboratively across multiple teams and as the main point of contact for business stakeholders, regulators, and external auditors. This role will report directly to Casumo’s Board of Directors with a focused mandate to provide independent analysis and management of the business risks as they affect the business.

As Risk and Audit Manager, you will:

• Develop and formulate a sufficient periodic audit plan and accompanying toolset that can be utilised by the Company to ensure its systems, policies and processes are working as intended;

• Develop and establish risk models for all aspects of the business and ensure the Audit Plan can test against these risks;

• Assist in the planning and scoping of audits with team leads as per the agreed Audit Plan;

• Execute audits following a risk-based internal audit methodology;

• Evaluate current controls and their effectiveness in relation to gaming-specific processes;

• Lead the audit testing program and assess the adequacy of the design and operation of the controls associated and identifying key risks;

• Prepare audit reports and reporting findings for the business executives, both verbally and in written format;

• Assist in the management and ensure recommendations are implemented on the recommendation systems/controls/policies within agreed timescales;

• Review and feedback to the Casumo Risk and Compliance Committee that agreed actions are tracked and implemented;

• Work with the product team to build requirements and specs. for automated risk and audit tools;

• Ensure business compliance with all relevant regulatory codes, licence requirements and legislation;

• Handling and assisting regulatory reporting in different jurisdictions where Casumo has a licence;

• Other assistance as required from time to time.

You Are:

• Qualified financial professional (bachelor's degree in business, accounts or economics preferred) or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an internal audit/ external audit environment or in an operational risk management role.

• Gaming exposure would be a plus.
