About the Team
Casumo is a leading online casino and sportsbook operator, focused on providing an entertaining and immersive gaming experience to players worldwide. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Country Lead to join our team and oversee our operations in Japan. As the Country Lead, you will be responsible for driving business development, executing marketing campaigns, and ensuring customer retention.
As Country Lead (Japan) You Will:
- Business Development: develop and execute strategies to drive business growth in the Japanese market.
- Identify new market opportunities, build partnerships, and establish a strong presence for Casumo in Japan.
- Marketing Campaigns: plan, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns to promote Casumo's products and services in Japan.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content, tailor campaigns to the local market, and optimize campaign performance.
- CRM Content Writing: create compelling content for customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives.
- Craft personalized messages, email newsletters, and other communications to engage and retain Japanese players, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Retention Campaigns: design and execute retention campaigns to enhance player loyalty and maximize customer lifetime value.
- Develop targeted promotions, bonuses, and rewards programs to encourage ongoing engagement and increase customer retention rates.
- Market Analysis: stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the Japanese gaming market.
- Conduct market research, analyze player behavior, and provide insights to drive data-driven decision-making and improve performance.
- Team Collaboration: collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Legal, Finance, and Customer Support, to ensure effective coordination and implementation of initiatives in Japan.
- Communicate regularly with the global management team to align strategies and goals.
- Localization: ensure that all marketing materials, website content, and communications are localized to resonate with the Japanese audience.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Japanese culture, preferences, and gaming habits to tailor Casumo's offerings accordingly.
- Performance Monitoring: track and analyze key performance metrics, including player acquisition, conversion rates, player value, and overall revenue generated from the Japanese market.
- Use data insights to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
You Are:
- Native Japanese speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English, enabling effective communication with the global team.
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a related field within the Japanese market.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese gaming industry, including regulations and player preferences.
- Ability to write compelling content for CRM initiatives and marketing campaigns.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Flexible to travel as required to attend industry events and conferences.
- Highly motivated and results-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
