About the role

As Head of Risk, Fraud & Payments, you will be responsible for the implementation of the company’s strategy and best practices for the risk, fraud and payments policies and procedures. While you will provide direct leadership to our risk, fraud and payments teams, you will also provide influential leadership to other teams at our Macedonia hub. Strong communication is vital for this role as you will create a strong liaison between HQ at Malta, Macedonia and other Casumo hubs.

Location: Skopje, Macedonia (we expect the candidate to be based in Skopje or relocate to Skopje).

As Head of Risk, Fraud & Payments You Will:

• Strategy implementation for risk, fraud & payments internal policies, procedures, and best practices for the daily operations.

• Understand the existing RFP processes and ensure automation of non-critical procedures to create bandwidth for the most critical work

• Evaluate the risks associated with new launches, campaigns or changes in products, jurisdictions, payment methods etc.

• Implement and review processes and best practices regarding KYC onboarding, ensuring compliance with AML, GDPR and other European/Global laws with respect to the industry

• Ensure implementation of necessary fraud and abuse tools to identify fraud and abuse trends, and mitigate suspicious transactions, fake accounts, bonus abuse, etc.

• Chargeback Management and reporting on trends and losses to Senior Management.

• Ensure collaboration with multiple teams like Product, Technology, Compliance, etc. across Casumo to delivery on our strategy

• Oversee the payments processing function and ensure the quickest possible turnaround times on customer withdrawals, with particular focus on the VIP experience.

• Manage a sizeable team of various Risk, Fraud and Payments professionals including setting of objectives and overseeing the team’s performance.

• Ensure effective performance management – assess, identify gaps, provide support, and initiate performance improvement plans when necessary and reward high performance

• Oversee day to day administration of our Macedonia hub and bring relevant insights and issues to the attention of the HQ in Malta

• Align and reinforce HQ strategy and communication to our Macedonia hub

Skills & Experience Required

• 8 years’ experience in a similar, senior role, iGaming industry preferred

• Strong knowledge of gambling compliance preferred including RG, AML and KYC.

• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Good understanding of 3rd party Fraud, Risk and Compliance systems.

• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and can work independently.

• Experience in leading and managing a team of substantial size.
