How we work
We believe in hiring great people and then getting out of their way. As no one will tell you what to do, you will need to be driven and contribute to solve a greater deal of challenges together with the rest of the team. Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow. No decision is out of our control. This means more responsibility for everyone, and everyone must assume some part of a leader role to manage at least themselves, but also their peers.
We believe people have more fun and do better work in a organisation built on a high level of trust. We believe that if we treat people like kids, we’ll get kid’s work back and that people take good decisions with access to good information.
Story of Casumo
In 2012 we set out to create a great gaming experience. Quickly we understood that it was not only about creating a great online casino experience, but also about designing the environment in which it is created. Our product simply is a by-product of that environment. Work to remove obstacles, provide framework and lead by providing context and to optimize for happiness.
Communication at Casumo
In a place with a lot of freedom and where there is little structure, communication is very important.
We believe in putting information out in the open and make it available for everyone to see. Therefore, we use tools like Slack and Github to chat, discuss and communicate ideas. This helps everyone get a context to which decisions are taken, while also being able to spot threats and discover opportunities earlier.
